About Us

On a cool day in September 2005 a few college boys headed home after a long and tiring football game.  Eric, known to many as a champion napper, settled down amongst his friends on the couch immediately upon returning home.  While trying to no avail to find a comfortable position for his feet on the coffee table he was suddenly struck with the idea of lifetime.   After a quick nap and painful indentations on his heels from the coffee table, Eric made a call to his sister Sara and the journey began.   After several trips to the fabric store and an argument over faux-fur, the 1st Smushion was constructed with love, staple guns, and the desire to get comfy.   

The Smushion is no longer made with a staple gun by a couple college kids, or with faux-fur but with high density memory foam and a variety of appealing materials.  The concept is the same.   We want to bring added comfort to your living room every day.   You'll never be uncomfortable with you feet up ever again and neither will your guests.
